Mr. & Mrs. Baumgardner

Recently, I had the joy of photographing a beautiful, country wedding in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The sun was shining, the breeze was just right, and the whole day felt like a scene from a storybook.

I don’t find myself shooting weddings much anymore, but when this bride’s family—one so near and dear to my heart—asked me to be a part of their day, there was no way I could pass up the honor. Everything about this celebration was laid back and full of love, the kind of wedding that makes you want to pause and savor every single moment.

The ceremony was full of sweet, genuine emotion, set against the backdrop of nature and rustic charm. There were happy tears, joyful laughter, and the feeling that this love, this day, would be remembered and treasured for years to come.

Being behind the camera again, capturing these memories, made me nostalgic for the days I spent photographing weddings every weekend. It’s hard not to fall in love with documenting the first day of a couple’s forever—especially when surrounded by the kind of love that fills up a space and makes it shine.

To Becca and James, thank you for letting me be a part of your magical day. Your love for one another is truly special, and I’m grateful to have been there to witness and capture it all. Wishing you all the happiness in the world, and a lifetime full of days as sunny and joyful as your wedding.

With all my heart,

Bethany
