Recently, I had the joy of photographing a beautiful, country wedding in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The sun was shining, the breeze was just right, and the whole day felt like a scene from a storybook.

3.5 Hours. That’s how long I pushed with my son, Sidney. My epidural had issues taking and then totally wore off. It was a tough, yet beautiful, labor. Click here to see his story.
I had emotionally prepared myself for a similar story… and by emotionally prepared, I mean I had mini panic attacks all throughout Christmas day thinking about what was to come. Little did I know, my baby girl would have a birth story completely unlike her brother.

This sweet couple stole my heart from the beginning. Their day was a blast. Everything from the sweet first look where I could see their nerves visibly melt away all the way to their adorable family dance to 'Can't Stop the Feeling' with their daughter. I had so much fun. My favorite moment was the way Cobi giggled at me right before Kelly took her garter off.
Kelly and Cobi, I wish you a lifetime of happiness. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak as much as I enjoyed capturing each image!

I've been out of the photography game for a little bit. But when I got the text Friday that they needed a photographer the following morning for a wedding ceremony, my heart exploded.
I've known Michael for what feels like forever. His sister was one of my bridesmaids and still a very close friend. Jamie and I have worked together at FedEx for a long time. When I found out the two of them were dating, my two worlds collided and it just made sense. They are so in love and so perfect for each other.
They knew instantly it was right. I told them that I knew Ryan was the man I was going to marry the moment I shook his hand for the first time. Sometimes, you just know instantly.
Jamie & Michael, I am so happy for you. I am also looking forward to being in the Grove this fall! I wish you many years of happiness and love. Hope you enjoy your pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.

George and Karen are my people! From their laid back nature to the beer selection at the bar to their Flight of the Conchords First Dance song - I loved absolutely everything about them. They perfectly balance each other, and I am honored they asked me to capture their wedding day. I usually become good friends with all my couples, but sometimes a couple just really clicks with me. They reminded me to never take myself too seriously. I love these guys.
Hope you enjoy the sneak peak from their beautiful day!

Check out this amazing couple I got to photograph this past weekend. I know Michele personally, and she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. They were so excited to just get married. It was a small, intimate gathering of their closest family and friends. I can't imagine their wedding day having gone any smoother than it did!
You guys are the best! I hope you enjoy!

This wedding was the sunshine after the storm. After a rough evening of Memphis weather, a lot of vendors scattered to hold their weddings together. Botanical Gardens, however, had a plan in place and the day went off without a hitch.
Not that it would have mattered. These two just wanted to get married and could have cared less what was going on around them. Such a stress free, beautiful couple. I am honored to have witnessed the light you two bring into the world. You were the sunshine we all needed.
