I've been out of the photography game for a little bit. But when I got the text Friday that they needed a photographer the following morning for a wedding ceremony, my heart exploded.
I've known Michael for what feels like forever. His sister was one of my bridesmaids and still a very close friend. Jamie and I have worked together at FedEx for a long time. When I found out the two of them were dating, my two worlds collided and it just made sense. They are so in love and so perfect for each other.
They knew instantly it was right. I told them that I knew Ryan was the man I was going to marry the moment I shook his hand for the first time. Sometimes, you just know instantly.
Jamie & Michael, I am so happy for you. I am also looking forward to being in the Grove this fall! I wish you many years of happiness and love. Hope you enjoy your pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Hannah's daddy walked her down the aisle, gave her hand away in marriage, and then led a beautiful and powerful ceremony as he joined the two in marriage before God and all their family and friends. Stephen lost it (in an absolutely perfect way) when he saw Anna coming down the aisle. These two have the sweetest kind of love. It's understanding, patient, and so endearing. Every detail of their day had me totally swept off my feet. I hope you enjoy their images as much as I enjoyed being a part of their special day.

Read moreI knew when I saw their wedding hashtag (#McNabingTheOne), I would love this couple dearly. Everything was perfection. In case you haven't seen the Beale Street Landing Downtown, it is FANTASTIC. It makes for a PERFECT wedding venue also. There isn't much sweeter than the Memphis bridge sunset. It's also a rare occasion that you are able to see a beautiful starry night Downtown, but for a few minutes we had a sudden burst of clear sky and I nabbed the bride and groom for an unforgettable, stunning Memphis bridge photo-op.
Side note, every groom should take notes from Russell. He brought a surprise to their first look. After giving Jennie her gift, he brought out a fantastic champagne toast to begin their portraits with. :)

Read moreJust wait for this amazing wedding. Carey is absolute perfection, and her groom, Justin, couldn't take his eyes off her all day. They are so in love, it makes my heart melt. Their wedding was at Maples Memorial Methodist Church in Olive Branch, MS, and their reception followed at the Olive Branch Country Club. Every single second was a blast.
