My sweet friend and one of my favorite second shooters, Candice Plunk, became Mrs. Candice Phelps yesterday. I'm so happy for her and her hubby. She was absolutely stunning.
I wasn't the official photographer. Candice asked me to come as a guest to her wedding, but she also wanted me to nag a few pics before the ceremony, so I happily obliged. Read moreI knew when I saw their wedding hashtag (#McNabingTheOne), I would love this couple dearly. Everything was perfection. In case you haven't seen the Beale Street Landing Downtown, it is FANTASTIC. It makes for a PERFECT wedding venue also. There isn't much sweeter than the Memphis bridge sunset. It's also a rare occasion that you are able to see a beautiful starry night Downtown, but for a few minutes we had a sudden burst of clear sky and I nabbed the bride and groom for an unforgettable, stunning Memphis bridge photo-op.
Side note, every groom should take notes from Russell. He brought a surprise to their first look. After giving Jennie her gift, he brought out a fantastic champagne toast to begin their portraits with. :)
Loved working with their wedding day coordinator too. Holly Hardin is one of my favorites!!! Her and her hubby are an adorable team!
Read moreJust wait for this amazing wedding. Carey is absolute perfection, and her groom, Justin, couldn't take his eyes off her all day. They are so in love, it makes my heart melt. Their wedding was at Maples Memorial Methodist Church in Olive Branch, MS, and their reception followed at the Olive Branch Country Club. Every single second was a blast.
